The issue of backing up one's journal has been in my mind since I lost some posts trying to bulk transfer my LJ to GreatestJournal. I still haven't done it yet, but thought I'd pimp this site hubster found, which will turn your journal into a pdf file for free. If you want something fancier, you can pay for more, but here is

I intend to do it too, so I'm glad you liked it. But when I did my bulk transfer, not only did it remove some posts, it double posted everything I was trying to transfer. I've been slogging though my journal deleting the double posts, but I'm still not done yet. When I am, I'll take da picture. :D
