[livejournal.com profile] anat_astarte posted something fun. I ran Knockin' and The Morning Ritual through it, and got the same answer

I write like
Stephen King

Everyone I've seen so far has gotten a male writer as an answer. Don't they have any women in there?

I just saw someone with Margarate Atwood, but that's the only female so far. :P

I just ran one of my stories through it and got Agatha Christie.

But that was after getting James Joyce, Dan Brown, and Stephen King; my writing must be horribly inconsistent.

Cool! I'm glad there are more female writers. I'd be happier with my assignation if I liked Stephen King more. The only book of his I really enjoyed was The Stand.

I can see you as a commercially successful writer, so not that far off. (Except for his giant potato head. And his tendency to make women ~symbolic~. And the fact that he could edit out about half of what he puts down on paper -- okay, so not at all alike. Except for the commercially successful part! :D)

Yeah, I'm no fan of Mr. King, but it seems apt. A lofty writer I am not! :D
